Tipsy Tuesday: Valentines Day Recovery / Water Changes Everything

Today is my Friday because tomorrow (on a 5:30 AM flight - gulp!) I leave for Nicaragua with some fun people. Oh and my husband's coming too. Ha!

Some remedies to recover from typical Valentines-ness.

Problem: Too much chocolate/ too many conversation hearts
Solution: Be satisfied. You ate all that crap, you should at least enjoy it :) Then brush your tooth-sweaters and be sure to flush it down with tons of water

Problem: Too much champagne on Valentines night
Solution: Sleep late, wear an eye mask, take a salt-bath and drink tons of water. Or have a bloody mary.

Problem: You got a large stuffed animal for V-day
Solution: Put him on the floor of your closet and make him the butler of your shoes. Name him Harold. But not really "Harold" cause that's the name of my closet shoe butler.

Problem: You don't have a traditional Valentine.
Solution: Make googly eyes at everyone until someone stares back. Then reel 'em in with a curling-come-hither-finger. Or... I'm your Valentine ;)

Problem: You do have a Valentine, but they forgot your gift
Solution: Let it go today, but bring it up at their birthday. "What? You wanted a birthday present? Well I thought it wouldn't be fair for me to be 2-up on you, so I just am going to lay low until I get that 2012 V-day gift. You're welcome."

Problem: Your Valentine wants to take you to dinner but you didn't wash your hair this week and you have to get up early tomorrow.
Solution: Tell them the truth. And then when they mumble 'bullsh*t' give them the googly eyes from the "don't have a traditional Valentine?" solution. They'll either think you're interested in skipping dinner or just plain crazy. Either way, you'll get out of dinner.

Problem: One in eight people in the world don't have access to clean water.
Solution: charity:water. Donate to the site in honor of my 26th birthday, here! We're halfway to our goal, loved ones! Let's keep going ask my birthday is a month an a half away.
