Things have not been peachy-weachy in my office with a bit of a merger on the horizon, some major power shifts and some minor office moves. And, let's face it, the holidays can make for a bum time at home too with in-laws and out-laws and the lawless worrying about if the silverware matches, spending too much money on gifts, and drunkenly telling you how to live your life. Merry Christmas!
So in light of (or in dark of) all that, we have to find some good.
We have to play the silver lining game!
For every complaint you lodge in your spouse's/brother's/dog's ear, you have to name one thing that is lovely/right/good.
Cause no one wants to hear that much complaining. And you'll get lost in a downward spiral if you're not careful to look up every so often.
What are your end-of-year survival tactics? For home? For work?
And if you have none, answer me this: Do you pronounce the "T" in often?

A bit of housekeeping:
I'm getting a lot of spam comments, so I had to turn the Captcha word verification back on. Boo hoo. I know it's a pain in the butt, but hopefully it will keep my inbox notifications to a minimum. Thanks for understanding and STILL commenting :)
