I'm a sucker for etiquette of all kinds. It helps me manage my expectations and makes human interaction more bearable for me and those I meet. Like, I didn't know that it was frustrating for people to shop with headphones in. I generally leave mine in because the techno beats of most stores make me feel paniked and vulnerable and I like to use my headphones to ward off sales people like a garlic necklace wards off vampires.
You could say I'm not a people person. I like to say I'm introverted.
Thanks for the etiquette pointers, Sunday Morning Sugar.
Now let's all go shopping and make eye contact with the salespeople instead of scurrying behind a clothing rack like an abused stray dog. Not that I ever do that.
